Welcome to Ark Priory Early Years!
Early Years
My name is Mr Beavis, and I am proud to lead the Early Years team at Ark Priory. Having taught in both Reception and Year 1, I understand just how important these early years are in laying the foundations for every child’s future learning and development.
At Ark Priory, our vision is clear and ambitious: to create a language-rich, knowledge-rich and nurturing environment where every child, regardless of their starting point, can thrive. We believe that every child deserves the very best start in life. Our aim is for children to leave the Early Years as confident communicators, curious learners and resilient individuals—fully prepared for the demands of Key Stage 1 and inspired to continue their educational journey with enthusiasm and self-belief.
Through high-quality teaching, purposeful play and strong partnerships with families, we ensure our Early Years setting is one where children feel safe, valued and motivated to explore the world around them. We recognise the power of early language, rich experiences and responsive adult interactions in shaping young minds, and we are committed to providing an environment that builds character, independence and joy in learning.
